Hamilton, 30, matched legendary Senna's record of three world titles last month with victory in the United States Grand Prix.

And ahead of the Interlagos race this weekend, the Briton displayed new helmet design, featuring his tribute to Senna , in a Twitter post.

The design reflects the iconic yellow with blue and green stripes worn by Senna, and accompanied with the message "Just for you, Brazil!! A tribute to the greatest".

The Mercedes driver recently expressed his desire to slaute his childhood hero during the Brazilian GP.

“He (Ayrton Senna) was such a huge hero in Brazil and it's humbling that I always get such a warm response there. It's amazing to think that it took Ayrton eight attempts to win this race and it's one of the few I haven't yet won myself.

If I can change that this weekend it would be a salute to him and another highlight to add to this amazing year, so I'll be going all out to make that happen,” Hamilton was quoted as saying by The Telegraph.
