World`s best boss takes 500 workers on £300,000 holiday

London: A magnanimous boss is taking his staff away from rain-lashed Britain for a £600 holiday in the sun.

Cato Syversen has invited his entire workforce of 500 on the all-expenses-paid trip to Majorca, which would cost him £300,000. The 46-year-old is splurging on his employees to mark his credit rating firm`s 15th birthday.

"It is worth every penny for the buzz it is creating," the Mirror quoted him as saying. About 250 employees from Cardiff and Caerphilly in Wales will be joined by a similar number based on the Continent for the four days of fun.

Syversen will be DJ at a nightclub he has hired and there will be a soccer tournament and a Eurovision talent contest during the break at the resort of Alcudia. "It`s going to be great. It just shows some bosses appreciate their workforce," creditsafe salesman Mark Davies added.
