US warned not to act like a `bull in a China shop`
US President Barack Obama and top defense officials have unveiled a new US defense strategy that focuses on Asia-Pacific region.

New York: A day after the United States released a defence review shifting focus to the Asia-Pacific, China’s state media on Friday warned Washington against "flexing its muscles".
In a commentary, official news agency Xinhua welcomed a peaceful US role in the region but warned Washington against acting like a "bull in a china shop”.
"The US role, if fulfilled with a positive attitude and free from a Cold War-style zero-sum mentality, will not only be conducive to regional stability and prosperity, but be good for China, which needs a peaceful environment to continue its economic development," the Xinhua editorial said. The editorial warned that any US militarism could generate ill will and "endanger peace".
