New Delhi: The father in law of the Indian shooter Jaspal Rana committed suicide on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a report in the Indian Express, the deceased, identified as A S Bisht, shot himself with a revolver at his residence in Sainik Farm area at around 1 pm.


“At around 1 pm Rana’s father-in-law shot himself with his licensed revolver in his temple and was rushed to Max Hospital in Saket where he succumbed to injuries. Prima facie Bisht was depressed over losses in his business,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Prem Nath.


It has been reported that Mr Bisht was depressed after suffering losses in his business.
