55-year-old man kidnapped
Mulji Rathod, who was returning home from his farm last night was abducted by Hemant Koli and his three accomplices.
Rajkot: A 55-year-old man was allegedly kidnapped by four persons in Thebchada town on the city outskirts, police said on Wednesday.
Mulji Rathod, who was returning home from his farm last night was abducted by Hemant Koli and his three accomplices, they said. Rathod`s first wife Vanita has lodged a complaint with Kuvadava police station alleging that Hemant alias Munna along with his three men kidnapped her husband, police said. According to the primary investigations, Rathod had two wives and his second wife Bhanuben`s brother eloped with Hemant`s sister couple of months back. Hemant suspected that Rathod had given shelter to the eloped couple, and that might be the reason behind Rathod`s kidnap, police added.
