Sri Lankan military has ordered probe into explosion at an ammunition store that killed a soldier and caused injuries to two others, officials said here Tuesday.

Brigadier Nihal Hapuarachchi, the military spokesman said the body of the soldier was discovered this morning during a search.
A five member committee has been appointed to probe the matter.
The explosion rocked the military dump at Weerawila in the southern town of Tissamaharama yesterday.
The explosion occurred after a routine firing exercise in the camp. The army`s military dump is located within close proximity to the Sri Lanka airforce base and its air strip.
