New Delhi: Days after she was sacked as the captain of India's women's hockey team, Ritu Rani broke down on national television.

Speaking to NDTV, Ritu, who has been accused of lack of focus by Hockey India officials, said that the decision came as a huge shock for her and the selectors have shattered her dreams of representing India at the upcoming Rio Olympics.


Ritu also lashed out at all allegations against her, saying after giving ten years to Indian hockey, she has never compromised with discipline and the selectors are yet to give her with a logical reason behind her ouster.
