Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has said the US is putting pressure on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the analysis of Iran`s nuclear programme, Press TV reported.

It was reported earlier that the IAEA was preparing to reveal new intelligence on Iran`s alleged nuclear weapons programme next week.
"If the IAEA is impartial it should resist the pressures exerted by certain countries and do its job professionally," Iran`s former nuclear chief Salehi said. The US and its Western allies accuse Iran of developing nuclear weapons under the cover of a peaceful nuclear energy programme. Tehran denies all the charges, saying that its nuclear programme is focused on the country`s electricity needs.
