Gunmen kill US teacher in Yemen
Much of Yemen saw a breakdown of law and order during the yearlong uprising against longtime leader Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Sana’a: A senior Yemeni official says two gunmen on a motorcycle have killed an American working as a teacher at a language institute in a city in the centre of the country.
Governor of Taez province Hamoud Al-Sufi says the teacher was shot in his car early Sunday in the provincial capital of Taez city. He had no details on who the killers might be. He says an investigation is ongoing.
