Hence its boss Thomas Bach is considered one of the most powerful sports administrators across the globe.


Be it at FIFA or BCCI, modern day sports administrators tend to conduct business in the lap of luxury.


The conferences and meetings are held at luxurious properties and the big bosses of the sporting world opt for nothing but the best when in comes to accommodation at events.


Interestingly, Bach's hotel room at the Olympic Village in Rio de Janeiro is rather modest.


Though it has a lovely view, the German's room isn't half as grand as some of his counterparts.


In true spirit of the Olympic Games, it is indeed wonderful to see Bach stay in the Olympic Village along with athletes and officials from all the participating countries.
