The tennis veteran took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to share his sentiments.





Paes and his partner Martina Hingis on Sunday bagged the mixed doubles title of the Australian Open in Melbourne beating Daniel Nestor and Kristina Mladenovic 6-4, 6-3 in straight sets.


After winning his 15th grand slam title, Paes was congratulated by Narendra Modi. Replying to that congratulatory message, Paes thanked the Prime Minister, expressing his desire to visit the PMO to meet him and celebrate the win.
