Barcelona coach Luis Enrique hails Rafael Nadal as epitome of sportsmanship
Former French Sports Minister Roselyne Bachelot had accused Nadal of faking an injury in 2012 to cover up a drug ban.
New Delhi: In the wake of Maria Sharapova's failed drug tests, Rafael Nadal suddenly became a point of reference thanks to many doping accusations labeled against him.
However, Barcelona coach Luis Enrique hailed the 14-time Grand Slam champion as an ideal sportsman.
Enrique said that Nadal represents "the ideal of what a sportsman should be".
"I have more chances of doping to train than Nadal," said the Barcelona coach in a press conference on the eve of the La Liga clash with Getafe.
He then joking added that the Spaniard has only one problem: "The team he supports (Real Madrid)."
