Nine kidnapped persons return unharmed in Tripura
Nine persons who were kidnapped from Dhalai district in Tripura have returned unhurt, police said today.

DIG (Police Control) Nepal Das said eight tribals who were kidnapped from Debendrakarbaripara, 18 km from Chawmanu police station, by insurgents of the the banned National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) on July 18 last have returned unhurt. They were being interrogated after they reported to the police station yesterday. Meanwhile, another tribal person, who was kidnapped by another group of the same outfit from Raisyabari police station area on November 30 last also returned yesterday, the DIG said.
