IndiGo passenger bus catches fire at Chennai airport, no injuries
No injuries have been reported as passengers had deboarded the bus at the time of the incident.
CHENNAI: A passenger bus of IndiGo airlines caught fire on Friday morning at the Chennai airport. The incident took place while it was returning to the airport bay after dropping off passengers.
No injuries have been reported as passengers had deboarded at the time of the incident.
Just two days ago on Wednesday, a Thiruvananthapuram-bound Indigo flight suffered a fuel leak at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.
As many as 173 passengers onboard were made to disembark after the leak came into notice. The incident took place right before the flight was about to take off.
On November 13, a Bengaluru-bound Indigo Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing after the cabin crew of flight 6E-445, from Thiruvananthapuram to Bengaluru, noticed the smell of smoke inside the cabin.
It was found that the smoke was coming out of a black laptop placed inside hand baggage. It was immediately extinguished. The aircraft landed at Bengaluru airport.
