FTWKF which also has Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda and Navjot Singh Sidhu on board is a game show with prizes for the family that wins fun tasks. Actress Neha Pendse has joined the team as the co-host while Chandan and Kiku continue to play Chandu Chaiwala and Bumper respectively.

Speculations are rife that Kapil ended up cancelling shoot over 6 times ( including one with Rani Mukerji) since the show went on air and this has apparently irked the makers.

According to a report in DNA, the makers, who had initially planned 26 episodes may cut it to 15-20 if the show fails to garner a decent response. The channel broadcasting the show is trying its best to put things in order.

“They wanted Kapil to hold a press conference, but he asked them for time. He told them he will address the media after a couple of episodes are aired. Now, there is an internal dispute going on about how many episodes should be aired,” DNA quoted a source as saying.

Kapil is going through a low phase because of all what happened last year. His fallout with Sunil Grover made headlines in March last year. Soon after Grover’s exit, TKSS (Ther Kapil Sharma Show) arguably lost its charm. The TRP of the show got affected badly and Kapil couldn’t cope with the pressure, reportedly. His health deteriorated and he had to cancel shoot quite a few times at the eleventh hour.

"After his fight with Sunil Grover that led to a chain of incidents, with the former quitting the show along with Ali Asgar, Kapil’s show suffered, his health went downhill leading to him cancelling shoots. Kapil announced his engagement to Ginny Chitrarth last year and now, his family wants him to get married sooner than later. All these things are affecting him. In fact, his old colleagues Sunil, Preeti and Neeti Simoes, who were part of his creative team, have tried to reach out to him in their own way," DNA quoted an insider as saying.

After TKSS went off the air last year, Kapil flew to Bengaluru to undergo treatment at an Ayurvedic clinic and returned to Mumbai to complete his film Firangi which released on December 1. The film directed by Rajiev Dhingra and produced by Kapil Sharma proved to be a dud at the Box Office. It was Kapil’s second film after his debut Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and first venture as a film producer.
