Jasleen Matharu, Megha Dhade evicted from the Bigg Boss house
Bigg Boss12 saw a double eviction on Saturday night with Jasleen and Megha exiting the house.
With no evictions Last week, the pressure got double on the nominated contestants i.e Deepak Thakur, Megha Dhade, Jasleen Matharu, Romil Chaudhury and Dipika Kakkar has they were nominated for this week as well. While the contestants were expecting one person to leave the house, Salman Khan announced a surprise double eviction in this 'Weekend Ka Vaar'. The decision left the nominated contestants, Dipika Kakar, Romil Chaudhary, Deepak Thakur, Jasleen Matharu and Megha Dhade, restless and anxious to know their fate in the Bigg Boss house. Unfortunately, Megha Dhade and Jasleen Matharu had to bid adieu to the Bigg Boss house.
Jasleen Matharu entered the Bigg Boss house as the jodidaar of the renowned bhajan singer Anup Jalota. Her relationship with her jodidaar always remained a bone of contention for the other contestants and the viewers on whether it was a guru-shishya relationship or a romantic one. Jasleen's journey in the Bigg Boss house has been rather an interesting one with a lot of highs and lows. Her jodidaar was evicted earlier and everyone thought that she wouldn’t survive in the show without him. But Jasleen became a strong contender as she battled it out with others week after week until the 12th week, where she got eliminated. Jasleen was seen to be bonding well with Dipika, Sreesanth and Megha over the last few weeks.
On her exit from the house, Jasleen Matharu commented, "Bigg Boss 12 has been a life changing experience for me. Each day that I have spent in the house was a memorable one because some incident would always keep happening in the house. I am happy that I could stay for such a long period but also a little sad to have left the house when the show is just few weeks away from the finale. Nevertheless, it’s a game, and I respect the decision. I have had a great time and made few amazing friends. I thank everyone who have supported me in this journey so far."
Along with Jasleen Matharu, the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi and one of the wild card entries of the season, Megha Dhade also got eliminated this week. Megha walked in the house with a winning attitude and also proved to be a tough contender. Initially her competition was with Dipika and wanted to take over the kitchen. But soon both of them turned out to be good friends. Megha had always shown a dedication in performing the tasks with all her grit. Her fierce attitude would always be mocked at by few contestants but that did not demean her spirit. But unfortunately, Megha's journey came to end in the Bigg Boss house. Megha was close to Dipika, Sreesanth and Jasleen in the Bigg Boss house.
Commenting on her exit, Megha Dhade said, “Bigg Boss as a show has been very close to my heart. After my stint in Marathi season, I made my way to the Hindi one. Both have been equally momentous for me. A lot of memories were made in this house that I will cherish for a lifetime. I would like to wish the others good luck for their journey ahead.”
