Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Kapil opened up about the controversies he landed in. He also spoke about the much-publicised mid-flight fight with Sunil Grover.

In the interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kapil said, “That was a one-off incident. What happened between Sunil and me was not a fight, it was an accident. I was shooting with him seven days a week when that accident happened. I admit I was completely wrong. I was grappling with 50 things and could not handle things well. My best wishes are always with Sunil.”

Soon after the fight made headlines, Kapil apologised to Sunil on Twitter but the latter chose not to get back to his team in order to protect his self-respect.

Ever since Grover left the show, TKSS saw a drop in the TRPs. He introduced a number of new characters but they failed to impress the audiences.

Kapil also had to call off shoot at the eleventh hour on quite a few occasions thereby leading to speculations suggesting that he had become too arrogant.

Talking about it, Kapil said, “Am I a fool to jeopardise my biggest source of income by making Shah Rukh Khan wait? Those who’re calling me arrogant and egoistic don’t know how nice Shah Rukh has been to me, how much love and respect I have for him. I don’t wish to make anybody wait, be it a superstar or not. I’m genuinely unwell and I don’t have the energy to keep sending out denials.
