Sunil Grover all set to return to the small screen?
Fans of the star comedian are eagerly looking forward to seeing him back on TV once again.
Mumbai: It has been a while we have seen Sunil Grover on television. The actor-comedian had appeared in a web-series during a cricket league in April and has been in news for his performance in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Patakha' co-starring Radhika Madan and Sanya Malhotra.
Fans of the star comedian are eagerly looking forward to seeing him back on TV once again and if the last buzz is anything to go by, Sunil will soon return to the small screen.
According to a report in DNA, Sunil will be a part of a special show which will be a round-up of 2018's major happenings.
“It will be based on the jija-saali concept with Sunil playing the brother-in-law. In the North, a lot of importance is given to the jija and everyone takes care to not upset him. The makers will be playing on that. In the show he will have seven saalis and it will have the feel of a Badhaai Ho meeting Bareilly Ki Barfi,” the daily quoted a source as saying.
Some of the other popular faces too will be a part of it. Upasana Singh, Sudesh Lehri and Ali Asgar are expected to be a part of the show.
Sunil, who is best known for essaying characters such as Gutthi, Dr Gulati and Rinku Bhabi on Indian TV, will be playing a significant role in the Salman Khan starrer. Sunil will be paired with Nora Fatehi, reports suggest.
If the reports are anything to go by, Sunil will play the role of Salman's friend in the Ali Abbas directorial. In the recent past, Sunil has worked in super-hit films such as Baaghi, Gabbar is Back and Heropanti.
