According to a report in DNA, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ will return to the small screen in a new format after a small break.

“The current format has run its course. Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar’s departure and Bharati Singh and Chandan Prabhakar’s re-entry are not the issue. We’ve realised that the entire show needs a revamp,” DNA quoted a source as saying.

In the recent past, TKSS has seen a number of changes in terms of the cast. Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar quit the show in the month of March and since then a number of new members have joined the team. Chandan Prabhakar, who too had quit the show following Kapil and Sunil’s ugly mid-flight fight, has returned to TKSS.

Ali Asgar, too had hinted that he left the showing owing to creative differences and is willing to join the team if offered a better role.

However, the source said that Grover may not be approached again but he is free to join them if he wishes to do so.

The new format may not lay emphasis on inviting film stars to the sets of the show, so it would be interesting to see what the makers are planning for the viewers.
