After acquittal in Aarushi murder case, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar plan a visit to Golden Temple
Dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar have plans to visit Golden Temple in Amritsar.
Noida: Days after their release in the sensational Aarushi murder case, dentist couple Nupur and Rajesh Talwar have decided to pay a visit to Amritsar's famous Golden Temple.
According to reports, the couple embarked on a tour on Tuesday - a day after they walked out of Dasna Jail in Ghaziabad after spending four years behind bars – in their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj murder case.
The couple stayed at Nupur Talwar's parents' flat in Noida from where they left in a car.
They refused to talk to a posse of mediapersons waiting outside the complex to get a response from the couple on their acquittal in the murder case of their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.
Vandana Talwar, an aunt of Aarushi, later told reporters that the dentist couple had left on a tour.
They will possibly visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar, she added.
Nupur Talwar's father BG Chitnis told the media that the dentist couple had left for Punjab and added that they would celebrate Diwali at home.
"They are not in a position to talk to the media now...It will take some time for them to register this. They will talk to the media on a later date," Vandana Talwar said.
After their release from the jail, the couple were escorted to Aarushi's maternal grandparents' house in Noida's Jal Vayu Vihar.
The Talwars lived in another flat -where the double murder took place on May 16 in 2008 - in the same housing complex.
The couple were acquitted by the Allahabad High Court on October 12 after they were convicted in 2013 by a lower court for the murder of their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.
