Class 10th girl commits suicide after being stalked in UP`s Sambhal

Sambhal: A class 10th girl committed suicide on Sunday in Uttar Pradesh's Sambal after being allegedly stalked by a man.

Father of the deceased girl said that the accused man used to stalk his daughter regularly.

The man had even threatened to kill the girl after she refused to accept a mobile phone from him, ANI reported.

Police are investigating the matter.

The incident comes days after a class 10th girl of Gurugram was stalked by a taxi driver.

She said to have been chased by him several times, as per the reports.

In another incident of harassment, a class 11th girl hanged herself in Noida after reportedly being stalked by her neighbours.

As per her suicide note, the men had threatened to kidnap her if she didn't come with them, media reports said.
