Lucknow: Gorakhpur MP Yogi Adityanath was selected as the new Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. The decision was taken unanimously by BJP leaders at party MLAs' meet held at here today.

Uttar Pradesh BJP president Keshav Prasad Maurya and Lucknow Mayor Dinesh Sharma were chosen as the Deputy Chief Ministers of the state. 


The decision was taken after a meeting at Lok Bhawan that saw central observers Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav and other senior party leaders in full attendance.
