Woman constable accuses senior cop of spiking drink, raping
An Uttar Pradesh-based lady constable has accused a senior police officer of raping her over eight years after spiking her drink. The incident reportedly took place in 2010.
MEERUT: An Uttar Pradesh-based lady constable has accused a senior police officer of raping her over eight years after spiking her drink. The incident reportedly took place in 2010.
The victim, ac constable with Meerut Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) has accused Station House Officer (SHO) Lokenderpal Singh of raping her.
“The accused mixed something in my cold-drink and raped me,” said the victim, adding, “The case dates back to 2010."
It is currently unclear if the victim was reporting to her.
An FIR has been lodged against SHO Lokenderpal Singh in an alleged rape case, said the police.
An investigation is currently underway.
The accused reportedly filmed the victim and threatened to leak the video on refusing the advances. The ordeal went on for eight years, claims the victim.
In 2015, another woman police constable from Uttar Pradesh's Etawah alleged that she has been gangraped by two male colleagues while on duty.
In November 2016, two persons were arrested for allegedly raping a lady police posted in Gwalior. That same month another lady officer alleged that she was asked by constable Satyendra Singh to come to Mathura Junction, where he offered her a spiked drink and raped her.
