After triple talaq, SC to hear polygamy and Nikah halala

The Supreme Court said that the constitution bench will hear petitions on polygamy and 'nikah halala' among Muslims. The development comes after a fresh plea was filed in the top court seeking to declare as 'illegal' and 'unconstitutional' the practices of polygamy and nikah-halala among the Muslim community.
