Army Chief to give first visit to J&K after scrapping of Article 370

Army chief General Bipin Rawat will visit Srinagar on Friday, for the first time since the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. The visit is aimed at reviewing the security situation and preparedness of security forces deployed to deal with any law and order situation in the region.
