Ayodhya Dispute: Will `Sankalp Rath Yatra` help in construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya ?

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) began the 9-day ‘Sankalp Rath Yatra’ in Delhi from Saturday to put pressure on the Centre for Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya. The mega ‘rath yatra’ comes in the backdrop of various events organised by the Sangh parivar, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Shiv Sena in the temple town along with Nagpur and Bengaluru. The ‘Sankalp Rath Yatra’ will culminate on December 9 at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, where RSS affiliate VHP is scheduled to hold a mega rally – ‘Dharma Sabha’ – demanding an ordinance for construction of Ram Mandir in the holy town in Uttar Pradesh.
