DNA: Delhi jammed on New Year`s first day, 80,000 people reach India Gate

On the very first day of the new year, Delhi was completely stuck in a traffic jam. Due to a huge crowd gathering around India Gate there was a chaotic atmosphere. To clear the jam the police had to announce on the loudspeakers. The Delhi Police advised Delhiites to stay away from India Gate and its adjoining areas.
