`Red alert` issued in many areas due to heat, heat likely to increase further

As the temperature exceeding 45 degrees Celsius in many parts of North India, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday issued a "red" warning for the next two days in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Rajasthan.
