7 killed in blast near Afghan mosque

Kabul: At least seven civilians were killed and 16 were injured in an explosion near a mosque in Afghanistan's Herat city on Tuesday.
The blast took place at around 3 p.m. near the northern gate of the Great Mosque of Herat, CNN quoted the Herat Governor's spokesman Jilani Farhad as saying.
No group claimed responsibility for the explosion.
