New Delhi: Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan, who was taking out a march against Pakistan's Shahbaz Sharif government from Lahore to Islamabad, opened fire at a rally in Wazirabad on Thursday, November 3, 2022. In this incident, 6 people, including Imran Khan, were injured and 1 person died. The police have arrested a person on the charge of firing and is trying to find out the motive behind firing at the rally.

According to the police, Imran Khan was taking out a march in Wazirabad area on Thursday. At the same time, firing was done near Imran Khan's container. Imran Khan was injured due to bullets in this incident. 5 supporters including his close aides namely Imran Ismail, Faisal Javed were also shot, due to which they were also injured. Soon after the firing, Imran Khan's supporters put him in a bullet-proof car and took him to the hospital nearby. He is currently said to be injured but safe. Reportedly, a supporter of Imran Khan, who was injured, died in the hospital.


According to the sources, the attacker fired with an AK-47 rifle, giving multiple injuries to Imran Khan on his leg. His leg has been plastered and has been seen limping. Post-attack, in a statement, he said, "Will fight back," while waving at his followers outside the hospital.
