Trump also predicted that the "witch-hunt will backfire massively" on President Joe Biden, adding that the American people will see through the Democrats' actions. He stated, "Our movement, and our party - united and strong - will first defeat Alvin Bragg, and then we will defeat Joe Biden, and we are going to throw every last one of these crooked democrats out of office so we can MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

According to PTI, in the statement, Trump also accused the Democrats of lying, cheating, and stealing in their attempts to "Get Trump." He said, "But now they've done the unthinkable -- indicting a completely innocent person in an act of blatant election interference."

Trump went on to criticize Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, whom he called a disgrace. He accused Bragg of ignoring the "unprecedented crime wave taking over New York City" and doing Biden's "dirty work."

However, Trump's supporters remain optimistic despite the indictment. Al Mason, a real estate businessman from New York and co-chair of the Trump Victory Indian-American Finance Committee, told PTI, "It is 100 per cent political. Trump will emerge even stronger after this witch hunt. Never underestimate him."

The New York Times reported that an indictment against Trump is expected to be announced in the coming days. Until then, the charges remain unknown.
