Sri Lanka to hold presidential election on November 16
The official notification of the election would be published later on Wednesday, Election Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya said.
COLOMBO: Sri Lanka will hold its presidential election on November 16, while nominations for the contest will be closed by October 7, the head of the South Asian island nation`s election body told Reuters on Wednesday.
