Hyundai Santro is going to hit the Indian roads again in 2018 after the company decided to phase out it`s `depreciating cash cow brand` in 2014.
New Delhi: Hyundai Santro is going to hit the Indian roads again in 2018 after the company decided to phase out it's 'depreciating cash cow brand' in 2014.
At that point in time, Santro made way for Eon and Elite i20 on the assembly line, the company plans to replace i10 by reintroducing Santro.
As per reports, the car is expected to be offered between Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.
The New Hyundai Santro 2018 with the code name 2018 AH, is likely to be launched in October 2018. This time it will be back in a new avatar with stylish front, rear and the side profile too, and more space, features, power and even fuel-efficiency.
The New Hyundai Santro will continue to have a tall boy design, and may shed some of its boxy look.
The car is likely to have highly refined, higher performance and high efficiency with 1.0-litre engine.
The New Hyundai Santro 2018 will be also be getting AMT and will compete in the market with Wagon R, Celerio, Tata Tiago and the Chevrolet Beat.
