MV Agusta F4 RC limited edition launched in India at Rs 50.35 lakh
India gets only one of the 250 units produced of this limited edition bike, with a price tag of Rs 50.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
One of the world's most premium superbike manufacturers, MV Agusta, has announced the launch of its exclusive F4 FC race replica in India. India gets only one of the 250 units produced of this limited edition bike, with a price tag of Rs 50.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
So, the immediate collector's buy has now become the fifth most expensive motorcycle on sale in the country.
A couple of months ago, the company launched the MV Agusta F3 RC limited edition in the country, allotting 9 units from its similar limited production number of 250 units worldwide. ‘RC’ standing for ‘Reparto Corse,’ both the bikes gets a livery inspired by the company's World SuperBike Championship (WSBK) racing team’s bike, making them exclusive race replicas.
Coming back to the newly-launched MV Agusta F4 RC, the bike is based on the flagship F4 RR model. However, the race replica receives even superior race-spec equipment for the perfect race bike experience. Powering the bike is the same 998cc, inline-four motor that powers all the F4 models, but tuned for the best performance possible.
In the RC edition, the engine pumps out 205PS of maximum power that can be further boosted to 215PS using the additional racing kit. The bike also gets the 2.0 EAS (Electronically Assisted Shift) Quick Shift as part of standard equipment.
Undoubtedly, the MV Agusta F4 is one of the most beautifully designed motorcycles on this planet and the F4 RC looks even more tempting with the WSBK-inspired paint scheme. The bike gets a high-end Ohlins suspension set-up with full electronic control, and braking duties are handled by high-performance Brembo units. Ditching the M-50 calipers of the RR version, the RC trim receives Brembo GP 4-piston radial calipers on both the 320mm discs at the front. Moreover, the company provides Bosch ABS 9 Plus with RaceMode, which utilises an RLM (Rear wheel Lift-up Mitigation) system to prevent rear wheel lift under heavy braking.
The MV Agusta F4 RC also gets MVICS 2.0 (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) and the ELDOR electronics package with ride-by-wire, multiple engine maps (riding modes), 8-level traction control, lean angle sensor and much more. The bike also gets its WSBK sibling-inspired wheels along with high-performance Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa rubber. Completing the race bike appearance is a 4-in-1 exhaust pipe under the seat instead of the standard 4-pipe exhaust.
