After the Delhi-bound Indigo flight from Jeddah landed at Jodhpur airport in Rajasthan the passenger was taken to the hospital for treatment.
An Indigo's flight from Jeddah to Delhi made an emergency landing in Rajasthan's Jodhpur on Thursday after one of the passengers on the plane fell sick. As per reports, the passenger was identified as 61-year-old Mitra Bano. After the landing at the airport, the passenger was taken to Goyal Hospital and Research Centre in the city for her treatment. However, the medical professionals said that Bano was already dead when she was brought to the hospital. A doctor on board, according to an IndiGo statement, reportedly assisted the crew in giving the passenger quick first aid. The airlines also offered Mitra Bano's friends and family their condolences.
She was with her on Mir Muzaffar when the plane touched down in Jodhpur at 11 a.m. According to authorities at the airport, the woman's condition apparently got worse during the flight, necessitating the emergency landing, as reported by India Today.
The woman's son, Mir, asserted that his mother had never previously been ill. Her medication utilisation, blood sugar, and blood pressure were all within acceptable ranges. He had a good time on his trip to Saudi Arabia and had no idea that something would happen in the middle of it. On the way home, the mother complained of excruciating agony, which required an emergency landing. According to reports, the mother had a heart arrest.
Mir operates his business from his home in Jammu and Kashmir's Amirabad Talal neighbourhood. His mother, brother, and father had just returned from a vacation to Saudi Arabia with him.
Only a few weeks before, an IndiGo flight from Madurai to Delhi had to make an emergency landing at the Indore airport after a 60-year-old passenger started bleeding in the air. However, a local hospital's medical professionals declared him dead. The traveller was a local of Noida.
