Bhopal ASP booked for sexually harassing woman constable
On Tuesday, another woman had accused an Indore Deputy Superintendent of Police of sexually harassing her for the past 12 years.
Bhopal: An Assistant Superintendent of Police here has been booked for sexually harassing a female constable, police said on Thursday.
The FIR against Rajendra Verma, posted at the police headquarters here, was filed at Jahangirabad police station, after the charges against him were proven during initial investigation, said ASP Dharamveer Yadav.
Verma has been booked under Section 354A (sexual harassment) of the Indian Penal Code.
On Tuesday, another woman had accused an Indore Deputy Superintendent of Police of sexually harassing her for the past 12 years. She barged into the police headquarters and claimed the officer had even married her and they had a child together.
