Patna juvenile board finds minor guilty in Patna, Bodhgaya blasts: NIA
The NIA on Wednesday said the Juvenile Justice Board in Patna has found a juvenile guilty of conspiracy in the Patna and Bodhgaya serial bomb blasts in Bihar.
New Delhi: The NIA on Wednesday said the Juvenile Justice Board in Patna has found a juvenile guilty of conspiracy in the Patna and Bodhgaya serial bomb blasts in Bihar and remanded him to a special home for three years in each case.
On October 27, 2013, a series of bomb blasts occurred at the `Hunkar Rally` venue at Patna`s Gandhi Maidan, which was addressed by Bharatiya Janata Party`s then prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Six persons were killed and over 89 injured in the serial blasts.
On July 7, 2013, the Mahabodhi temple in Bodhgaya was rocked by at least 10 bomb blasts soon after the morning prayers. A total of 13 bombs were planted, out of which 10 exploded. Three bombs were seized and defused.
Both terror cases were transferred to the National Investigation Agency for a probe.
The NIA arrested 11 accused in the Patna case and six in the Bodhgaya case.
