Indefinite curfew imposed in Khed Bhrama, violence in Surat
Indefinite curfew was imposed on Thursday in Khed Bhrama town in Sabarkantha district from noon following incidents of stone throwing and arson by a violent mob during the state-wide bandh to protest the massacre of Amarnath pilgrims in Kashmir.

The bandh has been sponsored by Vishwa Hindu Parishad in protest against the massacre of 36 pilgrims by Pakistan-backed terrorists on Tuesday.
A frenzied mob went on a rampage in the town and started pelting stones on business establishments and set on fire three shops, police said. In Surat, police burst two dozen teargas shells to disperse a mob which indulged in stone throwing and set on fire two buses on Varacha road on Thursday morning. Report: Zeenext Bureau
