A major fire broke out in the sadar bazaar area in central Delhi early Wednesday morning gutting at least 50 makeshift sheds, fire brigade officials said.

The incident occurred when one of the sheds behind railway station caught fire, they said.
Thirty-five fire tenders were pressed into service to control the blaze which lasted for about five hours.
