Mann, famous for his 'Dil da maamla hai,' received head injury while his driver Tej Pal died on the spot. He was admitted to the PGI in Chandigarh.
" Mann, who had participated in a music concert on Monday at the Panjab University in Chandigarh, was on way to Nakodar in Jalandhar," the police said.
The truck driver fled, they said adding Mann's car was damaged.
