New Delhi: The khiladi of B-Town, Akshay Kumar is currently in the best phase of his illustrious career. The superstar had a cent percent success ratio at the box office in 2016 with almost all his three films—Airlift, Housefull 3, Rustom doing great business.
The action star is perhaps now ready to on different characters and present them before the audiences. According to DNA, Akki has signed two biopics, out of which one will have him play Balbir Singh—former Hockey player and the second one will see him play Arunachalam Muruganantha—the man who took the plunge of making cheaper sanitary napkins for the rural women in his village.
The second film will be reportedly produced by Mrs Funnybones aka Twinkle Khanna. Interestingly, Tina in her latest book 'The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad' writes about 'The Sanitary Man' from the Sacred Land who bore the brunt of his village folks yet decided to help rural women in his village opt for hygienic means during menstruation.
Mrs Khiladi Kumar fictionalised the tale which is based on a true incident can be truly inspiring. The report states that Twinkle got her hands on the story of Muruganantham while she was searching for something on menstruation for her own column. The report also mentions that although the story in the book is written by Twinkle in her own fictionalised way, she will not be taking any credit in its big screen adaptation.
The film will be helmed by R Balki.
