New Delhi: Bollywood stars – Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt – starrer 'Dear Zindagi' is slowly and steadily nearing the Rs 50 crore mark at the Box Office. It is likely that the Gauri Shinde directorial will cross the half-a-crore mark on Saturday.

The movie reportedly collected Rs 2.25 crore on Friday. "#DearZindagi [Week 2] Fri 2.25 cr. Total: ₹ 49.25 cr. India biz... Will cross ₹ 50 cr mark today [Sat]," Hindi movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.


In the film, SRK can be seen playing life mentor to the 'Kapoor and Sons' diva. The flick is being appreciated by critics and viewers.


'Dear Zindagi' also features Ali Zafar, Kunal Kapoor, Angad Bedi and Aditya Roy Kapur in prominent roles.



'Dear Zindagi' was produced by Gauri Khan, Karan Johar and Shinde under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and Hope Productions respectively. It was released on November 25 this year.
