The actor-comedian has been out of action for about a month and we know that his fans are quite upset!

But here’s something that will make them cheerful. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Kapil, who is producing his second film Firangi will lend his voice to the unplugged version of a song titled Saheba Russ Gayi Hai.

Set in the backdrop of undivided India in 1920, Firangi is being directed by Rajiv Dhingra, a very dear friend of Kapil.

“Kapil really liked the song and agreed to sing the unplugged version. The original version is sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, which will feature in the film,” confirms director Rajiv Dhingra.

It’s a known fact that Kapil is a very good singer and hence it would be interesting to see how he expresses himself through the song.

The film’s sets were constructed on the banks of the Sutlej River in Punjab and a major portion of the flick was shot there.

Firangi which is slated to release on November 10 also stars Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in pivotal roles.

Kapil had made his acting debut with Abbas Mustan’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon in 2015. Kapil had romanced four women in the comedy which had also starred Arbaaz Khan. The film did a decent business at the Box Office owing to Kapil’s popularity.

And now one wonders what Firangi has in store for us, given the fact that Kapil had been through tough times in the recent past.
