New Delhi: Indian film actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha also known as Shotgun turns a year older today. The 72-year-old actor has been seen in more than 100 films of Bollywood.
The actor has been married to Poonam Sinha since 1980 and the lovely couple have three children, Sonakshi Sinha, Kush Sinha and Luv Sinha. His most popular films were during 1970s and 1980s. He was last seen in Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer film, 'Bodyguard'.

1. Kalicharan
Kalicharan was the directorial debut of Subhash Ghai released in 1976. It is an Indian action drama film starring Shatrughan Sinha and Reena Roy. The film became a box office hit and was later remade in four languages.
2. Kaala Patthar
Directed and produced by Yash Chopra, it is a 1979 Indian film based on the Chasnala mining disaster. It was the fourth film in which Shatrughan Sinha, Shashi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan shared screen space. This film was also nominated for many Filmfare awards.
3. Choron Ki Baaraat
The film was directed by Harmesh Malhotra. Shatrughan Sinha shared the big-screen with B-town actress Neetu Singh. The film was released in 1980 and was a bollywood blockbuster.
4. Dostana
A 1980 Indian drama action film, Dostana was directed by Raj Khosla. It was one of the highest grosser films of 1980. The movie also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman.
5. Naseeb
Naseeb is a popular Bollywood action comedy which hit the theatres in 1981. Apart from Shatrughan Sinha, other stars of the film are Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Hema Malini and Reena Roy. The Manmohan Desai directorial was remade in Tamil as Sandhippu in 1983.
