If reports are to be believed, Rana is most likely to replace actor Nana Patekar in 'Housefull 4'. The buzz says that the actor was recently approached by the makers of 'Housefull 4' after Patekar walked out of the film in the wake of ongoing MeToo controversy.


However, there has been no official confirmation on the same.


Earlier this month, Nana Patekar and director Sajid Khan stepped out of the film after multiple women came out and accused them of sexual harassment. Within a week, Farhad Samji, who co-directed 'Housefull 3' replaced Sajid Khan as the film director. On the other hand, names of actors like Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutta started to circulate as potential replacements for Patekar. 


'Housefull 4' is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is the fourth installment of the Housefull series. It features franchise regular Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Boman Irani and Chunkey Pandey while Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon will be the new faces.


The fourth installment of hit comedy franchise 'Housefull' is based on the theme of reincarnation. According to producer Sajid Nadiadwala, 'Housefull 4' will be the highest budgeted Indian comedy film. It is slated to hit the screens this year during Diwali.
