New Delhi: 'Raabta' starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon is all set to release this Friday (June 9, 2017) and the movie has been making a buzz for a long time now. Amidst all the controversies surrounding 'Raabta', the trailer and promotional biz of the movie looks really promising.
Today, we bring to you 5 reasons why you should watch 'Raabta' this weekend. Check it out:
The unusual story
It initially looked like a normal love story but the trailer promised much more. With the concept of re-incarnation, the movie gets an edge. Its unique trailer got us excited to see what the movie has to offer.
Sushant and Kriti's chemistry
This is the first time Sushant and Kriti have come together for a project and by all the promotional activities, trailer etc, their chemistry is something to look forward to. They look sizzling hot in the song 'Main Tera Boyfriend' and it will be fun to see their reel life romance on-screen.
The supporting cast
After watching Jim Sarbh in 'Neerja', it would be a nice change to see the actor in a commercial movie. Jim's performance in 'Neerja' was highly appreciated and this gives us one more reason to watch 'Raabta'. Also, Rajkummar Rao has a cameo in the movie where he is seen playing the role of a 324-year-old man.
The music
The soundtrack of 'Raabta' is composed by Pritam and it is indeed one of the most promising albums of 2017 till now. With songs like 'Ek Vaari' and the soul-stirring title track 'Raabta', the music is quite enchanting. However, it has also got a foot tapping number like 'Main Tera Boyfriend' which will bring out the inner dancer in you.
Magadheera
SS Rajamouli's 'Magadheera' which was released in 2009 was a huge hit in the south and 'Raabta' happens to be inspired by the same. Recently Rajamouli's 'Baahubali-2' took the box office by storm and we are sure that if 'Raabta' is going on the similar track, it will be a sure shot hit.
