Thugs of Hindostan, one of the most awaited films of the year starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Zeeshan Ayub has hit theatres amid the grand Diwali festivities. The Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial is produced by Yash Raj Films and has amazing music composed by the very talented duo Ajay-Atul.

Aamir, who plays Firangi Mallah in the film has undergone a major transformation to justify the character.  Big B as Khudabaksh looks like a warrior who is also a farmer, Fatima as Zafira comes across as the daredevil while Katrina as Suraiyya is the ultimate siren.


Reportedly set in the backdrop of India under the British rule in the 19th century, Thugs of Hindostan is inspired by Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug. It revolves around the life of a thug and his gang who challenge the British Empire in the country.


The film also stars English actor Lloyd Owen essaying a significant role.
