'Mogul', a biopic on the life of music tycoon Gulshan Kumar was scheduled to hit the screens next year and Akki even shared its first look poster on social media early this year. However, the latest buzz around this film right now is that Akshay has reportedly quit the venture.

Yes! According to Pinkvilla.com, the actor owing to creative differences with the makers has decided to part ways with the project. The news has been originally attributed to a leading tabloid.

A source told the tabloid, "Akshay has come concerns over the script that director Subhash Kapoor has greenlit. He requested a few things be rewritten. But, Subhash was adamant. Hence, Akshay thought it was best if he opted out."

However, the actor is yet to discuss the matter with the producers. No official announcement has been made either by the makers or by the actor as yet.
