Mercedes Benz India (MBI), the largest and the fastest growing luxury carmaker is all set to launch the facelift version of the M Class SUV –Mercedes GLE on October 14. 


The new vehicle from Mercedes stable will be assembled at the Pune factory.


On the cosmetic side, the SUV gets a new front fascia with a revised grille, an updated rear-end with new LED tail-lamp.


While on the specs side the GLE will have two diesel engine options- 250d and the 350d. The 250d will boast of a 2.1-litre, four-cylinder, V6 turbo-diesel engine churning peak power of 204bhp and a peak torque of 480Nm while the 350d variant will be powered by a 3.0-litre, V6 diesel engine churning 254bhp power and maximum torque of 618Nm. 


Both the engine options will be mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic gearbox. 


The new vehicle will reach 0-60km/hr in just four seconds and can reach top speed of 250km/hr.
