Pak militant outfits using cyanide in J&K
Jammu, Aug 28: Pakistan backed foreign mercenaries are using cyanide to kill people in Jammu and Kashmir, and apprehension of such attacks against security forces has increased, top police sources said.

"Foreign mercenaries belonging to Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT)
and Harkat-ul-Jehadi-Islemia (Huji) used cyanide to kill a
woman and a middle aged person in Surankote belt of Poonch
district some time back," the sources told here today.
The use of cyanide was confirmed after receipt of reports from Forensic Sciences Laboratory (FSL), Hyderabad, which conducted tests on the material used in killing of the duo in June this year, they said.
Citing instances of cyanide use, the sources said let militants had kidnapped Rahni Begum of Surankote belt of Poonch district in J&K, injected poison and killed her on June 21 while one Feroz din Gujjar was forced to drink some liquid from a bottle at gun point and died later on Jun 23.
